Default Rolling Stone

Has anyone read the latest Rolling Stone (the one with Hunter S. Thompson on the cover)? In it they have an article with the top 25 music DVD's and describe the gear you should buy to view them. If you want to "splurge" they recomend Sony BDP-S300. But they describe it as dual format player that plays full features from Blu-Ray and HD-DVD so you don't have to get caught up in the format war for only $500. What in the hoo haw are these guys smoking?

Yeah, it plays Blu-rays and the flip side on an HD DUD combo (DVD). That should be enough to deter more HD DUD sales.

Seriously, Sony couldn't pay enough for this kind of free advertising. It's the magazines burden to ensure accuracy of their articles.
