Default MGS ONLINE ONLY impressions???

Is it basically like the Beta with more maps? Can anyone offer some more insight? I bought this but I'm mainly an online only kind of guy but I've heard that experience is so so compared to like COD4, R6V2, etc.....

thats the problem. people are trying to play MGO like COD4 and when it doesn't play like COD4, they say its just so-so.

The game is a stealth game, not a run & gun. It takes a great deal of teamwork to be successful at and being quiet, patient, and stealthy.

that's the problem right now. i want to play it like that but everyone else wants to play like COD4. hopefully the diehard fans will stick with it and the run and gun people will eventually get weeded out.

i played the beta and liked it. it's just a different game play like stockstar and others have said.

That is good feedback. Usually I read the strat guides and then I understand what the mission is versus comparing it to COD4. Maybe realigning my expectations will better prepare me for what to expect.

based on the beta, i can say it was difficult and best with a good team.
Doing a free for all was a pain but I never liked that style, however I found a fun way to play it. With all the stealth options and weapons, it is fun to hide, kill, move, hide, kill, move... But hard to pull off for long.
With a good team, snipers are great, especially if they can cover friends on larger maps, but on some maps snipers are useless and it is more run and shoot.

I have yet to play the full thing but from what i hear, there will be tons more weapons, dozens of maps, a collection of new goals, and more.
So it would be nice to see what the new players have to say, but i think right now they are all busy playing

I played the beta and yeah, comparing it to COD4 isn't a good comparison. The game styles are on two different levels. If anything it can be kinda close to Rainbow Six. You don't run around looking for people and being careless. You gotta really use your brain and think about your next move.

Get a headset and find some people that like to communicate! I am part of the "UMBRELLA CORP" clan run by 'Drakeography' and that group is awesome at teamwork and communication.

the nice thing about MGO is that 12 year olds don't like to play in it like COD 4.

I just bought the game (Amazon delivering tomorrow) and MGO is my main interest.

I like being sneaky and hunting people. I hope MGO is good.
