I'm also anxious for this. In the eary days of the Internet I badgered pretty much the first Paul Thomas Anderson website to name me "World's Biggest Boogie Nights Fan." This was early 1998 and I had seen the film about 7 times at the theater at that point. Anyway, I still absolutely love the movie, even though I'm not quite as fanatical about it these days.

I would probably buy every PTA film on Blu-Ray, simply because I love all 5 of them and feel that my initial reactions to him have held true over the years: he truly is a natural-born filmmaker and one of the finest directors working today.

My wife, who may love the film even more than I do, bought me a badass BN shirt several years ago. It's orange with the animated cover that graces the current 2-disc SE DVD version. Great stuff.

And finally, another Boogie Nights anecdote. I was seeing it for the 5th or 6th time at Dobie Theater in Austin, TX. Even though I had Rollergirl's bust memorized by now I was still anxious to see it again. Right as she's rolling over to Dirk on the sofa the scene jumped to something immediately after it...maybe Jack smoking his cigar and observing them. Either way some horny projectionist must have spliced that section for his own bizarre purposes. Bastard...
