Default firmware for bd-p1000

i know how to download the file but how do i open it for saveing on the disc -what kind of disc do i use - thanks

You have to burnthe ISO file onto a CD-R or CD-RW disc using burn image. I did it last night, finally got to watch Pirates. If you are doing it from a Mac (which I did) it is a pain in the balls.

once the file is downloaded how do you open it so that you can burn it to a cd? Thanks

paul., there are a number of programs such as nero and roxio that burn the iso image. whatever burning program you use, open the iso image with it and it should recognize it and set you up for burning.
