Two disc? A higher bit rate more modern encode would not kill the original disc by any means.
But if the second disc only has the doc what is the point?

Would be nice to think that they shifted all the extras over to Disc 2 so 1 could have the film by itself, but I doubt it.

Well, I was hoping for something a bit more exciting. It's criminal that the Nolan trilogy received the collector's box set treatment but the Burton films haven't.

I have the 20th anniversary digibook. The only way i would get this is if it had a new scan and encode. If its the same, which im sure it is, ill have to pass on it.

I was really looking forward to this but since there is only 1 new feature I am going to have to pass .

The new art may not be mind blowing, but I can already tell I love that Joker disc art just from the small glimpse in the pic.

I have the digibook version, which I like very much. New feature is not nearly enough for an upgrade.

Wow, WB really dropped the ball with this release. Just one new special feature and an uninspired box art design? I am very disappointed. Pass.

How great would it have been if we got a collector's box set like TDK trilogy or the upcoming Batman '66 series. WB could have done so much more with this release.

To be fair their original blu ray is pretty nice, and the digibook packaging is pretty sweet. It's not like they treated the movie poorly.

I don't like it at all really, especially compared to the 2009 digibook. But I do agree the original blu-ray is nice.

Oh, my mistake. I misread your post into thinking this new release is also a digibook. Then yeah, I agree the digibook is great.

I hate hate hate the font they're using for the title on the front. I still have a VHS copy that has no text on the front, just the bat symbol on a black background. Or, use the original font of thick Ariel type in black with a yellow outline.

"Diamond Luxe" is just embarrassing. Still, I don't own Batman on Blu-ray yet, so maybe I'll let it slip this once.

Yes this Cover is ugly!

Further I hoped that they make a new digibook or a box like on Argo.
That is pretty disappointing.
