The Sopranos

Hey guys.
I'm new to the world of film collecting, and figured there would be no point buying DVD's to start my collection, as I reckon pretty soon they'll be obselete, so Blu Ray was the obvious choice and I went out and bought a PS3.

And as a big fan of the Sopranos, I was planning on starting my collection with a Sopranos boxset, now I'm aware theres an sddvd boxset, but as stated above I would like a Blu Ray version.

Any confirmed release dates or rumours of when the whole series will be released on Blu?

So far there hasn't been, but Season Six Part 1 & 2 is currently released on Blu-Ray.

Yeah Man I'm in the same boat, I kept thinking I missed something about when the other seasons come out, but right now it's like that for most TV shows. Lost, Rescue Me, Nip Tuck, etc are all in the same boat with random seasons out on Blu Ray and no current release date for the others. Only show that's got it all right so far is Weeds!! Hah, anyway, I assume you are correct as betting that they are not FAR off, but who knows!

No other Sopranos will make it out this year. The insiders as well as wicky have stated that you wont see more TV series until next year. The rep lines are packed trying to get out the summer movies and the many titles that will be released this fall(especially the sept-dec). Plus, HBO rep stated that they hope to have Band of Brothers out by end of the year. That will be their next release. Then who knows what will be next.

Thanks for the info! That's really lame though as far as not until next year. I would LOVE to watch a lot of these series' again, but want to do it from beginning to end...

dont forget Heroes is coming out this year as well
