No Disney animation, very few titles older than 10 years, no westerns (Searchers, Unforgiven, 3:10 to Yuma), no I, Robot, no Kubrick. Many of the titles you have are OK, but you might want to fill in the cracks. I don't like to judge, as I always say, whatever trips your trigger.

You're missing out on all the great Blu Rays!! 2001, Patton, CE3K, Blade Runner, etc etc etc etc. They're mostly new-release type flicks you have

I personally only like about half of your collection...but hey, it's your collection not mine. Why give a sh*t what anyone here thinks? Buy what you enjoy and what will be re-watchable to you. That's what this artistic format of entertainment is all about.

My one suggestion to anyone who owns Blu-rays:
Blade Runner period.

Other posters are right in that you are missing a few essentials like Blade Runner and I, Robot. To each his own, though. I'm just the kind to only buy movies if I will watch them more than two or three times. If you like your collection, then my opinion shouldn't matter

Nice collection.

I'm not sure I would pick up Waiting or Disturbia since I thought those sucked,.. but I suppose I would take them if I found them on the side of the road or something. Disturbia is ok for the first half... Waiting just plain sux but there is a really cute girl in it so it's not completely worthless.

I haven't seem some of the movies like 7 years in tibet so I guess I don't know what to think about that one.

You are missing the best of the Resident Evil movies.

For a full year of collecting I have to say your collection is kinda small.

If you like them, then they're fine. Spiderman 3 & Ghost Rider get a lot of flak but I enjoyed them. If they weren't on blu I probably wouldn't like them as much as I do though.

I agree you're missing some good ones, and--Twister, Tibet, 5th Element & Independance Day aside--I'd encourage you to look past films made in the last 5 years. There are some excellent ones out already, as well as some coming soon (I personally can't wait for Cool Hand Luke). Blade Runner, Close Encounters, Goodfellas, Patton, Dawn of the Dead (original), The Usual Suspects, and The Unforgiven would probably meld into your collection quite nicely, based on what you have listed (if you like them all, that is).

Overall, not bad. Not everyone can get 50+ movies in a year, and since they'll eventually get cheaper it often pays to wait if you missed the bogo's.
