The controls were pretty good. Thats all I can really give it. Judging by the demo - i give it a 4.5/10.

EDIT: Edited my score from 5/10 to 4.5/10 because i forget about the terrible "Explode if you go out of the area" thing.

The sound was meant to be one of the best features, somthign about realtime sound so that if you fire indoors it echos slightly and if you fired outdoors the sound was lost slightly and loads of funky shiz like that

Battlefield is 6000 times more fun then COD4 IMO. Sure the graphics are better in COD4 but Id rather eat throw up then play it anymore. Battlefield BC FTW.

They are ok up close.. but in the distance all the edges are very jagged. It certainly isn't pleasing too look at. But it is not that bad.

The gameplay felt really off to me on the demo. The character movement and gunfire felt murky and underwhelming. I can't see myself dropping $60 on this...hope the full version is better.

Good. I like this game. I think it's got good story based on the demo. Graphics isn't that bad as well.

it got a 9.25 on game informer magazine, I dont know wahts up withyalls surround cause the sound is amazing on mine.

I still stand by my statement. Sure COD4 is fun but i think its time for people to get their noses out of its a$#. The graphics are better it COD4 but that doesnt make a game fun for me.

I found this to be way more fun than COD4. Graphics were good, and the audio was awesome. Ill be pickin this up for sure in a little while.

I stopped at Game Crazy tonight on my way home from work and they had additional copies in addition to the reserved ones so I was able to buy a copy today instead of waiting until tommorrow. Not sure I'll get to it tonight but I did read the strat guide some and it looks as if the oasis map in the demo is the weakest of them all so I'm looking forward to the other maps.

For a Battlefield game, the demo was awful! The multiplayer was really hard to join a game. Then the sound messed up with a loud fire-alarm like sound that only went away by exiting the game completely.

If I wanted single player action, I'd pick up some Medal Of Honor title. (My PC roots are showing.) CoD4 set the bar pretty high for this round of multi-player games. It's too bad BF has been going downhill since BF Viet Nam. I was really excited for this one, too.
