Has anyone picked this up yet? What do you think of it? I wasn't paying it much attention, but one of the guys I work with bought it and after what he's been telling me now I'm think I should get it.

picked the game on release day (had it preordered). multiplayer is fun unless you get on a team of noobs and/or you're a lower rank against a team of ranks way higher than you, then, it's no fun at all

as for single player, i can't really tell. i didn't pay attention to the story

Single- player is pretty darn good so far, im not too far in yet.

Multiplayer- do yourself a favor and get 4 friends that like to play as a team and communicate and make a squad. you will have an amazing time

I picked this game up today, but haven't played it yet. I'm going to finish the PS3 game I'm in the middle of first, but I'm really looking forward to playing this.

I started playing the campaign today. Overall I'm really liking it. The graphics aren't as good as Modern Warfare 1 or 2, and I haven't gotten completely accustomed to how the character moves yet though. I do like that cover can be destroyed and IMO the audio in gun battles is amazing.

I've been playing this game for a bit now MP wise, and I'm always looking for people to play in a squad with. Send me a FR: MENTALYCHALNGED ...and yea I am vocal lol. It's funny how much people need to talk in this game, and those who aren't in squads don't.

This thursday, The Dr. Pepper DLC will be released. If Anyone doesn't know, it will give you alternate outfits for each class, and camoes for your guns. The DLC is free, as long as you have a code from a Dr. Pepper bottle. I Used this for Mass Effect 2, and it was pretty cool. I have high hopes for this DLC as well.

I'm loving the single player so far. Haven't even messed with the multi-player yet. The graphics aren't as good as MW2, but the environment is more interactive. The control layout is a bit different and takes some getting used to though.

That's cool, but I hate Dr. Pepper so I never buy it. Do any Dr. Pepper drinkers here have an extra code they would like to pass along please? I would very much appreciate a PM.

I probably will by Thursday. I am drinking as much as possible to make sure I have enough codes for all the DLC.

Ok thanks. Does that mean you need more than one? Is it like one for each type of camo and one for each outfit, etc?

EDIT: Nevermind. I found the answers to my questions. I still need the code/s though.

It's more like one for each class. One for assault, recon, engineer, and medic. Also, there will apparently be new achievments tied to each downloaded item.

Yeah I was just reading about that. This is what I found.

well you could always buy the Dr. Pepper and then give the drinks away. Thats like paying $1.29 for each DLC. There are 5 of them so it's $6.45 for BC2's newest DLC. That is better than most games that will charge you $10-$15 for something like this.

I might just pick up a case of cans while I'm out today. I believe my wife likes it Ok. Or I'll just take it to the fire station.
