Yes. Not as good as IAMMMMW, but still good fun, so I will be getting this.

It depends, I don't care for IAMMMMW and find this to be a much more enjoyable (and clever) film.

Probably a good time to sell the DVD while the prices are still relatively high.

I haven't watched this for a while, but I remember Alan Arkin being pretty amusing (I'm a fan) and the rest being a bit dull, especially towards the end.

I saw this theatrically when I was about 16. I thought it was a pretty lame film then and I've seen bits of it on TV since and I still thought it was lame. Most of the people in the film are portrayed as idiots and it seemed more like a TV sitcom than a serious (even if comic) film. It was a typical Hollywood film designed not to offend anybody.

I think the only thing I liked about it was the hot girl. (There was a hot girl in it, right?)

It was released in the same year as "Blow-Up", "Alfie", "A Man for All Seasons," "The Endless Summer", "A Man and a Woman" and "Fahrenheit 451". Even "Our Man Flint" seemed like a masterpiece compared to "The Russians..."

Looks my my years of waiting for a better release has paid off just a tiny bit. Kino is reissuing the film on a BD50 with a slightly better encode and a slipcover next month.
AKA the disc encode they should've done the first time.
