Smile Sunfire Subs

Anybody here has any model of Sunfire Subs? D-series or True EQ Signature.
What do you think of the bass quality?

I looked at one..... it was nice, expensive, but nice.... Bottom line though, you can't fake physics..... get a larger driver, you'll be happier.

That was the same thing I came to when I was looking at them. They just aren't big enough. Sunfire makes a decent subwoofer considering its size, but you should really seek a larger speaker unless size is of extreme importance.

one other thing... sunfire subs don't last long... the internal components are cheap stuff and fail. My sub went bad and as soon as i called Sunfire, they already knew what the problem was after briefly describing the symtoms. they said the caps fail (and apparently my unit is not grounding right also) and it would cost $500 to repair, plus shipping... Shipping a 50 lbs sub from and to Hawaii would cost me another $150-200 (paradise tax). At that price, it would be more economical to buy a new sub... love the velodynes...
