Default Sunfire Subs

Hey guys, question about Sunfire subs: I was thinking about getting 2 TS-EQ12's for the home theatre. But after reading the specs and seeing how much power each of them have (2700 watts each), I was wondering: do I need some kind of separate amp to accommodate them? I currently have a Pioneer Elite SC-25 that runs four surrounds and two subs (PSB 5i & Definitive Tech Supercube ii) . My fronts are running off a separate. Any advice/ideas/suggestions?

No, you're fine. These subs have an onboard amplifier. Post some pics if you get them!

The preamp won't matter. However depending on how loud you like them you might have to have them on separate breakers. I've had to take this into account in several builds.

I think you will love them if you do get them. I have an HRS-12 and its awesome! I would have loved to have gotten one of the True Subwoofers though since I've heard that their performance is just incredible. It was just a bit more money than I had to spend at the time not to mention that it would be pure overkill in my apartment. I already have to keep the volume in check with the HRS-12 since I initially got some complaints from the neighbors when I first got it. Sunfire subs are the ish!
