Default does 6800 ultra agp play smooth?

I have an 6800 ultra 256mb agp card, but the blu ray lagg because of the cpu.
I want to buy a new motherboard and cpu with agp, and use my old 6800. I have to know if blu ray allways run smooth with a 6800 ultra, without any lagg?
I know it is the minimum requirement, but have anyone tried this card with blu ray/hddvd? thanks for answer

The cpu lags because the 6x00 series cards do not have the onboard acceleration for decoding VC-1 & AVC. You want a GeForce 8600 for blu-ray playback, then you can pair with nearly any cpu. Otherwise, you're looking at a Core 2 Duo E6600 minimum with the 6800.
