October 2014 50 Movie Challenge - Halloween/Horror - Blu-ray Forum

For October, of course, the focus is Halloween/Horror. Given that limitation, we're going to make it a little less restrictive and let you pick ANY 10 sub-categories of your choice within the genre to use for the challenge. (5 movies each for a total of 50)

As we've done most months, though the goal is 50, we will have different levels for those who wish to aim lower (or higher):

60 Movies - Platinum
50 Movies = Gold
40 Movies = Silver
30 Movies = Bronze

Not fond of horror films but I'll have another go this month. I've just started watching American Horror Story so I can fill up some of it with episodes of that

You say 2 hour long episodes count as one movie, yet AHS episodes are about 40 minutes. Would 2 of those still count as one movie?

Yes 2 episodes of an hourlong show count. Yes, without commercials they are only like 42 minutes each, but most movies arent a full two hours either, so it works out.

Dont feel bad about not watching much horror. Much of mine will be kid stuff like Paranorman, Casper, Hotel Transylvania, etc., and I'll work in some that are more suspense than horror.

I'll try and watch whatever I can when possible over the next few weeks, and then I have a week off the last week of October where I can just cram in loads

Walking through the store today, I eyeballed the Chucky collection, the Leprechaun collection, the Friday the 13th Collection, the Nightmare on Elm Street Collection...then it hit me, why the frakk haven't I seen any of these sequels yet? There's probably enough in these to fill up a month or so.

I've just started watching American Horror Story so I can fill up some of it with episodes of that You say 2 hour long episodes count as one movie, yet AHS episodes are about 40 minutes. Would 2 of those still count as one movie?

There's probably enough in these to fill up a month or so.
