Yes - GITD is an amazing film, and brings to mind the old Adventure films like Treasure of the Sierra Madre, The African Queen, etc.. Needs a Blu anamorphic release, pronto....

Agree completely, very underrated film and high on my personal "wish list". Watched this on DVD a few weeks back, very rough PQ to say the least.

Anyone else like this movie about the Tsavo Maneaters that starred Michael Douglas and Val Kilmer? An underrated flick IMO. Anyone else hope it gets a Blu ray release soon? I wish Paramount would get to it. The only release available in the US is a non anamorphic DVD. IS there even an HD version of this movie

I remember liking this a lot, and I'm a big Michael Douglas fan. I would buy it. Seems like a good candidate for Warner to put out on the cheap under their agreements with Paramount. Here's hoping.

There definitely is an HD master of this movie. It was on one of the HD movie channels last year and I dvr'd it. It looks really good. Here's hoping for a bd release soon.
