Default The Sammy LCD or the Panny Plasma?

I'm about to pull the trigger, got a great deal on either one, just can't make up my mind if I want to go LCD or Plasma. I will be watching movies and playing games. PLEASE give me some input!
The plasma will be about 100.00 more.

plasma

EDIT (because of vagueness): Deeper blacks, no motion blur, burn in pretty much a thing of the past, and i think they have better color accuracy.

I have a 120htz sammy lcd and it is a great TV. I got a really good deal on it as well. I would however go with the panny plasma as I think it is just a little bit nicer picture. It was about 800 more when i bought so that is why I went with the sammy. Both are very good TV's and either way you should be very happy.

One more vote for plasma

Permanent burn-in is not a problem for the newer plasma, Image retention can be annoying when the set is new, but will get less and less as the set get used, even to a point that its non existent

I ended up with a Sammy LCD cause I had 2 Panny plasmas that were defective. You can kinda tell with the black levels but the LCD still looks damn good. Plus motion blur really isn't an issue anymore like burn in on plasmas.

if your able bump up to the samsung 650 series. its got 120hz and the colors are out of this world. i have the 750 and its glorious, motion blur is non exsistent and i have never seen a plasma that even comes close to this set. also if you can buy from amazon. save your self a ton of green.

I have a Samsung 1080p plasma that I bought a year ago. If I was buying a TV today there is no doubt that I would purchase the new 52" 650 or 750 series Samsung LCD. In side by side comparisons it has has good if not better picture than the plasma TV. Even the Panasonic. But everyone has their own opinions on which is best. Just look at them and your own eyes will tell you. I am just stating what I would do if it were me. Either one will do a great job and will be a great TV for years to come.

I had this dilemma not to long ago. I ended up buying the panasonic plasma thinking it was the best choice, i was completely wrong. After throwing in a Blu-ray on the panny i realized i had made the wrong decision. I went back to Circuit Shity the very next day and picked up my sammy lcd ln46a650 and i was tickeld pink. I think it's superior in every way and anyone who thinks otherwise i believe is crazy. But than again you really have to enjoy the 120hz (auto motion plus), if you don't like it than get the plasma. Go to the store and watch both screens very closely to see which one you like the most, only your eyes will tell you what you really want.
