Planet Earth blu-ray/hddvd in the same box? - Blu-ray Forum

So I just got my blu-ray Planet Earth set from Amazon, popped it open, and disc 4 says HD-DVD on it. Looking on the back of the dvd, it says HD-DVD on those little rings around the hole. Besides that, it looks the same as the other ones, although I do not know if HD-dvd's look different cause I've never looked at one. I haven't had a chance yet to pop it in my ps3 to see if it's actually an HD-DVD, but I will do that in the next couple hours when I get home.

I was wondering if anyone else had something like this happen?

hmm... so I guess I need to see if Amazon will exchange it... this is dumb...
I guess HD-DVD is trying really hard....

this is probably why the HD DVD version is doing so well on amazon....they have to slip some of their discs in with the BD versions to inflate their sales...
