Default Finally Feeling Satiated/Saturated with Blu?

I, for one, am now feeling that everything I want is either coming to Blu or will be coming soon enough. Sure, I'm still waiting for the Back to the Future trilogy and the Bourne Trilogy, but--jeeze--my buying calendar is filling up, fast!

When we all thought that we'd reach this stage eventually, I'm not sure I thought I'd feel this way in July 2008.

You have to love the way the announcements are rolling in, almost on a daily basis.

Starting September it looks like I'm going to be consistently broke...now I'm actually going to have to pick and choose my blu-rays as opposed to last year when I was hoping for more (and still managed to go broke).

We rent ours from Netflix, and our queue is much bigger than we can handle - so I am satisfied.

I would love to see some favorites show up thought that I would buy.

LOTR, The Matrix, Bourne, Back to the Future, etc...

I'm not satisfied because I couldn't care less about the upcoming catalog titles with an exception of a few title. All I care about right now is new movies that I haven't seen yet especially the summer films that are playing right now. I just want those movies out on Blu as soon as possible.

Personally, I don't understand all the excitement for wanting catalog titles. You have already seen them all hundreds of times, why do you want them so bad?

Im pretty satisfied. There are still a lot of old trilogies and stuff which I'd love to see on Blu but honestly they are NBD and I can wait. All the newer stuff is going to Blu and that is what matters most to me.

Have you seen most of the new movies being released these days?

It's no surprise to me why most of us are excited about catalog titles.

yes, I have seen them and they're not bad at all. But what I was really talking about is the summer movies that will be coming out later this year. Movies like Wanted, Iron Man, Hancock, Dark Knight, Kung fu Panda and The Incredible Hulk are not only good movies, but they are made for the pristine quality of Bluray. Most catalog title will never look as good as movies made today. Which is why I don't get excited over a 20 years ago transfer film like Star wars or worse, 1938's Robin hood.

For me being able to see bright, vivid colors, fine detail and (hopefully) an accurate theatrical presentation is what drives me to re-buy catalogue titles.

Thumbs up Feels Good To Be Blu!

I think a lot of us feel vindicated that we choose the best format (at least those us who were ALWAYS TRUE BLU). Now that Blu-ray is taking off we can enjoy the ride. I talk about the wonders of Blu-ray where ever I go. Old titles and new titles, I am looking forward to the great selection available to us. July and September look to be very big months and August isn't half bad either!

Easy to get gifts for me on my birthday, father's day, or Christmas: Make it Blu-ray!

Great announcements on a daily basis. Really happy about the way things are going. To the winners go the spoils. Almost feel like going to eproductwars.com and taunting Mike HD and Keno...
