When I saw it I knew something was odd as I had never seen a slip for beetlejuice before, so I grabbed it. It is missing the bonus CD but everything else is there

I am not a slip collector but I believe that slip is pretty rare. Congratulations on a very nice find.

Last I remember lookign it up, it really was. I know GHostbusters' slip went from rare to just no value since they had a 4K Remaster with slip, but that one hasn't had any re-issue or re-release after that initial run, so it should still be.

Great find, man! Always loved the holographic slip on that one!

I went to a pawn shop today, after seeing them advertise their movies on CL, and I was surprised to find Protector 2 and Sabotage combo for 5 bucks each. They obviously look value up online, based on box set prices (Howling shout for 15, criterions 15, arrow s2 for 26), so no 3 buck deals were to be found, but hey, I finally found a shop that isn't straight up 15 bucks for first wave/launch blu-rays.

I have never seen Criterions at our shops.

Last week I found Bottle Rocket for $3.95 at a thrift store.

Went to my local store yesterday and they were selling used blu-rays 7 for 20.00! Normally 5 for 20.00. Too bad i couldn't find 7 that I didn't have. All I could find was 4. That would have been 5 each.

What I do in those instance is try to find titles in the stash that might sell for more on ebay... I have found quite a few titles that have netted me 20-30 from $3 pawn shop scores... in other instances, I trade them at moviestop using the T2G1 promotion... a lot of my pawn shop buying has specifically been with that in mind. Knowing not all titles qualify for the promotion, I have to be selective in what I do trade in

Did this the other week from a store that has a 6 for $18 deal always going on, only two of the titles I wanted myself, the other 4 qualified and I have two new release titles on reserve, fully paid when they release.
