Technically speaking, isn't a movie NOT 1080P when in fact almost 1/3rd of the screen is taken up by black bars?
It's become so easy for movie manufacturers now: gone are the days when they used to re-format movies to fit the domestic TV, now they just flop it on a disc any way in which they please. With a 37" screen it's annoying to have a slit of a movie, I'd much rather get what I pay for which is a movie licensed for home use. Rant over. I guess I'll have to get a bigger TV. |
