Ok, thanks for the info. So I guess regardless of TT rights Resen could have the go ahead from Sony. Makes me even more curious to see if that 4th re-release from TT will be Mysterious Island.

Yes, these are the exact screenshots from DVDbeaver.
Maybe they added grain but again I don't think it would look better than the TT. It would look like blurry with grain.

I'm stunned, my TT order just showed up! It was only 13 days late so I guess I'm lucky that SA wasn't pissed at me for only ordering 4 different TT titles....

Beaver says they're identical in every way, look at the bitrate charts. If the pics look different it's due to the compression of the pics or the timing of the screen grab. These pic comparisons are an inherently flawed comparison system, honestly.

I don't imagine any title will be $10 (except maybe the couple of DVDs that are still in print). If it's like last year's sale, everything on the sale list will be $10 off.

And before anyone starts rubbing their hands with glee, keep in mind that it won't be all titles, it won't likely be any recent titles, and it won't be titles that are on their low-quantity list. They will be selecting titles that are their slow sellers.

Just to put things in perspective, of the 36 titles selected last year, only two have since sold out, and none of the other 34 are on their low-quantity list.

Looking forward to seeing what will be on sale. I'm going to be getting a copy of Zardoz no matter what so hopefully there are a few other titles I want to help mitigate the shipping cost.

All these posts about the new releases and my order has still not shipped.

It's like I am being punished for getting the FN autographed copy. Anyone else still not have their order shipped yet? Thankfully the review for Journey and comments on First Men sound good, so I won't be disappointed when I pop them in. Looks like I will be receiving them 3 weeks after release date...

I purchased all 5 March releases (biggest single TT purchase for me) and my order is still pending as well. I did email and got a reply that the order is queued for shipping, but has not shipped yet.

I figured they just put a tracking number on the site, with the usual no e-mail. I checked their site and still saw pending this morning, so also sent them an e-mail and got the same reply. Strangely, I did not order The Bounty, which I guess was the hold up title, so waiting impatiently I guess. Thanks for letting me know.
