Default Question on moving a 42" Sony HDTV? Help!

I couldn't find anything when I tried to search although admittedly I didn't do a very extensive search. But I hope someone can help me with this.

I'm going to be moving from Florida to Texas in a month and half. I currently own my first 42" HD rear projection TV. It's a Sony KDF-E42A10. I only have two compact cars and don't own a truck or an SUV so I'm going to have to put it in the U-Haul with the rest of my crap.

Here are my questions. (Obviously I don't have the original box that it came in.)

1. What will be the best way to secure this sucker while transporting it? (A buttload of bubble wrap?)

2. It has the plastic screen in the front so how should I go about protecting that without scratching it (or worse denting/puncturing it).

3. Have any of you ever had to move one of these babies, and if so, how did you do it?

4. Is is true that if it falls over or lays on its side it can severely mess up the light sources/convergence and therefore mess up the PQ?

5. Also, in the U-Haul, should I set on one of the sofas or set it on cushions? Again, I'm at a loss.

Any help or advice you could give would be greatly appreciated.
