I would like some color adjustments that can be synched-up to color-bars on BR disks.

What? No color bars on BR disks? What a great idea!

Put some color bars somewhere on each BR (Sony can start this trend) that match the movie content. Then, have some PS3 adjustments to fine-tune the image to perfection.

I worked in TV for a decade, and we always set up scopes/machines to SMPTE color bars. It was the only way we knew the colors and levels were spot-on.

Why can't we do this with BR?

Just an idea people who make these disks should kick around.
