PS3 Game Suggestions - Blu-ray Forum

Just recently purchased a PS3 for the living room, and Ive been wondering as far as game suggestions? Football is only on on Sundays and there is free time to be wasted.

I've heard that Resistance, Assassin's Creed, and Madden are good - recommendations and advice?

Ratchet and Clank, Heavenly Sword, NBA 08, NBA street homecourt, Motorstorm are a lot of fun and out now.

Uncharted and assasins creed will be out very soon, worthy of picking up

I'm not a big fan of dirt racing games but MotorStorm blew me away. Its an amazing game if you have a big screen HDTV. Just wish there were more levels.

Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction
Call of Duty 4 (available today!)

I think the jury is still out on Assassin's Creed. Wait for some reviews; I know I will be.

Hmm, picking all these up takes a lot out of the Blu-Ray film budget.

If you want a good FPS you should choose between Call of Duty 4 or, if you can't get a copy for some reason and just need an FPS game, get Resistance: Fall of Man. It is a great game for the money and the multiplayer environment is still running strong. Jericho is fun, if you want a survival horror game with no multiplayer. It has pretty good graphics and the way you play the game, there is no other FPS like it that I can think of. Assassin's creed will be out this month. If you want a game now and would like to go with an FPS game I would pick from these three currently. I don't believe you will be dissapointed, as long as you know a little bit about the game you are choosing.
