Same, I've never seen it either. I'm excited for this release.

I'm assuming since this is the most expensive blu ray every produced in Korea...it will cost consumers more than the usual ~$36 price.

Firstly, we'd like to apologize for making you wait this much. Oldboy is taking so much longer than we initially anticipated, and took us by surprise last year.
Believe it or not, we are still working on Oldboy.
There's a documentary we're making. It features approx. 40 people (cast & crew). These are new interviews that you've never seen before.
The documentary feature is a proper film, made by a group of professional crew. We're also using a cinematic camera, instead of a camcorder or a DSLR.
In terms of the packaging, there will be a limited edition box set with a Steelbook inside. There are other editions that we can't talk about at the moment. Five designers from four different countries are working on multiple editions.
We're almost entirely sure that our release of Oldboy would be the most costly Blu-ray release Korea has ever seen. One of the reasons being the documentary.
Please bare with us a little longer. We need more time to release the best possible edition of Oldboy.

Please! And I mean PLEASE do yourself a favor and avoid the horrible remake at all costs.
Spike Lee should be banned from directing for life for even attempting to attempt another version of Oldboy.

Am I crazy for wanting to buy those although I already own:

- OldBoy UK BluRay
- OldBoy UK BluRay steelbook
- OldBoy UK DVD Special Edition
- OldBoy Korean Ultimate Edition

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oye this is going to be all seven types of epic.they can take all the time they need but it sounds like I'll need to make sure to be on top of a mountain with my 4g on while simultaneously dangling from a satellite to make sure I can get one of these

Fun fact, over the weekend I climbed up Bear Peak in Boulder, Colorado. I was a the very summit, 8,500+ feet, and was able to FaceTime my mom. Full service!

That's awesome man. All I did was climb into my recliner and watch NBA basketball and the UFC.

I feel good about my choices, even if I didn't really accomplish much.
