Default Steelbooks form around the globe that use Mondo artwork

Just wondering if anyone had a list of what steelbooks released around the world use Mondo artwork (besides the Mondo X collection)

I think Ender's Game (UK) is but I am not sure

Looper and The Raid (both UK) used Mondo art.

I would guess Universal isn't planning a 2015 wave of comic steelbooks, since they seem to end up cheap Black Friday fodder. Too bad, I really dug them. I have 12 so far, and plan to pick up a few more.

Does anyone know if there are plastic/clear protective slipcases, like the kind sold at steelbook central, that are made to fit the lenticular slip from Kimchi and Novamedia? Steelbook Central makes a protective slip cover for full slip Asian releases, ala Blufans, but they are way too large for the lenticular slips. I would prefer some that fit the lenticulars snuggly.

Kimchi sells their own that should fit. I have no personal experience with them.

Depend on the quality items and if you want to make a profit, or sell at face value, I always try to sell at face value or what I paid, but not more. If you want to make a profit, use ebay and search for you items, filter by sold and it will get you a good price range of what everyone is paying.

Best of luck!

lol I literally just posted a link to the Blufans ebay guide I made in the BF thread.

Here's the link for you. It's crude, but it'll give you an idea of how much each one has been going for.

All mint and that is my problem! I'm having to buy 2 or 3 copies each time to make sure I get one without any defects and it's killing me.

After all the horror stories of sellers being ripped off I certainly won't be dealing via eBay.

Pricing wise, what ever they are worth second hand no more no less.

I have done the same with my magazine collection, so I have a few extra copies of many. Just my opinion, post here for what you have in them with the willing to hear offers even if a little less, working with the folks here will in return help you get something you maybe missing one day down the line....you never know who can help out with a gb you miss or a hard to find title, I am still in search of Thor , frozen and Serenity.

I've been selling on eBay for years and have never had any issues.

If you sell something, ship it out the next day, package it well, and it arrives as described, there shouldn't be any issues. You're very well protected as a seller as well.

As an alternative, you could create a thread in the trade forum on this site, like the one I set up in my signature below.

^^ what he said!

I would add to include enough pictures with you user name to make it be well documented that the item listed is exactly what you'll be sending out. Even take pictures of the packaging process and keep them as a "cover your ass" scenario in case the Buyer tries to weasel out of the deal. If you can provide proof that you shipped out the same item that was documented in the sale listing, you shouldn't have any problems from a seller's standpoint.

Default Blufans, KimchiDVD, HDZeta questions

Blufans:
I have tried to find some info, but nothing solid. Since there's a lot here buying Blufans releases, I guess it's all good. All I want to know is, are they official releases or are they bootlegs, don't want to be suspicious, just to be sure.

KimchiDVD and HDZeta:
Whats the deal here? I seem to find some releases called KimchiDVD exclusive and HDZeta exclusive, to be the same. Like the Gladiator steelbooks and the Gladiator steelbook collection.

Any clarification is much appreciated.

Thank you

I'll leave your other Kimchi/HDZeta question to someone more familiar with their products...
but in regards to Blufans, yes they are official releases and not bootlegs
for some of the prices they have to be!

This is a really great Blufans-dedicated thread that has most of the info you would need either directly there or in the FAQ that linked in there

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=255385 This thread also helps answer generalized questions to get a better understanding of things

Hope that helps
