I got home and checked all settings on the 875 and the ps3 all was fine. I unplugged the cable from my 360 and plugged it into my ps3 'voila sound. Must be a bad hdmi cable. I was under the assumption that digital is digital and they either work or they don't Oh well I will go buy a new hdmi tomorrow.
