I watched U-571 last night and it was pretty damn good. Its on a BD-25, but the audio is supurb (those depth charges are outstanding!) and never noticed any problems with the video handling the dark scenes. Its not the sharpest film in the world, but that is probably an issue with the master less the transfer.

The first time I saw this film, I was unimpressed, but watching it again has elevated it to a keeper in my collection (and not thrown in the huge box that contains my unwanted screeners). The Hunt for Red October is also on that list, but Crimson Tide definitely is not. Of the three, I would rank U-571 as the best Blu-ray presentation. This title will not disappoint.

So uhm... about those unwanted screeners...
