I had to bite since I needed the North American discs to go inside of my UK steelbook. Was waiting/hoping for $9.99. Came A LOT quicker than I expected.

Barely bought it at Walmart and returned it an hour later. Amazing deal. Same with GOTG and The Hobbit.

Anybody still see the Target package in stores? The site says it's not sold. I was waiting for a sale but it looks like I missed out.

I wonder how much longer it's going to be available online.

I've seen a few copies laying around stores in my area, even the larger Targets.

Has anybody rented this from Netflix on Blu-ray? I couldn't believe it, the disc only has a Dolby Digital 5.1 track on it (plus a few other languages). I guess Lionsgate is cutting lossless out of their rentals. That really stinks! I'm not going to watch it and wait until it is lower priced and buy it.

This has been a practice for at least 2 years from Lionsgate, I was surprised that the Lionsgate Maggie and While We're Young discs I got from Redbox today actually had lossless. They don't say RENTAL on the front, though.

Red was the first title to do this and it was at the beginning of 2011. I have been tracking this closely with Lionsgate, who now owns Summit, over the last 4.5 years. It seems they only strip a disc of lossless audio if it can fit on a BD-25. I notice they don't bother with the longer films that can't fit on a BD-25. Sometimes extras have to be stripped as well, which was the case with the Mockingjay P1 release. So if it's a film that runs well over 2 hours you can bet the rental disc will be identical to the BD-50 used for retail because it can't fit on a BD-25. What's funny is they lock out of the extras on these disc, but you can watch them if you have a way to play the raw .m2ts files with a PC.

It's a bummer, no doubt about it.
I dread every time a LG BD arrives from Netflix, although I believe there have been a few, recently, that arrived with lossless audio. So maybe the negative feedback got their attention?

The funny thing about this series is that I buy the newest movie every Black Friday...and I never watch it. I do see them in the theater though.

Well watching the Halloween films every day makes it hard to squeeze a Hunger Games every now and then!

Apparently Mockingjay Part 2 won't be released in 3D in the states, only internationally. Probably means we won't get a Blu-ray 3D release either. I'm a little relieved as I now I won't have to choose between 3D and the inevitable Target exclusive with a bonus disc. I'm guessing, as with Insurgent, which is also by Lionsgate, there would be no 3D version of the Target exclusive.

So I have a $5 GC from Target & was just about to use it on the $24.99 3-Disc set there, but it shows this:

Shipping - Not Available
Store Pickup - Not Sold in stores

Ok, what did I miss? Was this a Limited Time only "Special Edition" or something??

Yeah, that is the Target exclusive limited set. You may be able to find it in a store if you go look, but by now it's probably out of stock. I know the fist films Target exclusive can fairly easily still be found in stores, but the two sequels are going to be difficult to find now.

I think the stores should still have it yet. Just cause it says not available in stores. Doesn't mean its not. I've seen plenty of things say that. But they have it. Best you could do is stop by and see. I mean if you have a Target near you. I still see the exclusive for the first two yet.

yea, I'd be surprised if most (or some) stores DON'T have it in stock. I just did a Live Chat with a guy a bit ago & the Online part was because it's "Currently" Not in Stock there, & he said give it a couple or so Business days & check back. I'm not near any Target stores now, but will be next week (maybe sooner), so I'll look there if/when I have the chance.

** EDIT: Just looked; closest one is 59 miles away, lol, so next week it'll be ! **

Wow. I hope they have it in stock. Don't wanna go all the way out there for nothing.
