The LGs suffer from major blackwash... you get very deep blacks but you lose color detail as a result, better to stick with a brand that knows how to make TVs than a brand that should have stuck to refrigerators and cellphones. If really deep blacks are all you want, then sure, by all means get an LG or the 650 series samsungs, but if you want true colors, deep blacks, and a TV that is gonna last you a long time, go with Pio or Panny
