Yeah I did the same search and got nothing. August 18 would be great but sounds too soon. Would rather wait an extra month if it means they'll have time to deliver that director's cut and better extras.

It will probably have the release slot that Captain America: The Winter Soldier had last year which was early September. I'm going to guess September 8 as a release date.

This might be my first MCU pass. I really didn't like this film at all. I might pick this up it goes dirt cheap sometime just so I can close out phase 2 but given that it's Disney, that's not going to happen anytime soon.

I'm thinking It will be out on BD on September 1st if it's not out by August 18th.

I'd be shocked if the disc wasn't already done.

I still think you'll be waiting a long time for this. Disney doesn't seem to like director's cuts or bonus features much these days.

You'll be waiting a long time, maybe forever. Marvel has yet to release any extended cuts for any of its movies. But hey I'd buy it. Will be getting this day 1.

I really hope I'm not wrong, but didn't Whedon confirm an extended cut blu on social media somewhere? I remember that story blew up when it got out and I just took it as is without doing major research. I just assumed that had been in the pipeline for some time now. If not, bummer....

No, Amazon listed an extended cut at first, but then quickly removed it. I doubt it was ever real, Marvel/Disney seem very reluctant to release extended cuts of anything.

Yeah, I think 9/1 is right. I don't see it being released as soon as 8/4 or 8/18 as previously rumored.
