Default Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens

Not sure if this has been shared anywhere else, but according to an event itinerary for Wal-Mart, Force Awakens will be released on blu ray in Spring of 2016. I know it's not an exact date but it's something. There are four Star Wars events planned for the retailer but I thought a generic release date should have been mentioned.

I don't really want to see any footage beyond what was already shown in the last trailer myself. But I reckon there will be no avoiding whatever new trailer comes out in the fall.

That's the way I felt about the very first teaser (and for future trailers). But it didn't take me long to give in since I figured it'd be damn near impossible with how much sports I watch to avoid everything. Plus, I've seen the last trailer in a couple movies now, so I would have had to close my eyes and sing to myself to not see/hear anything. Yup, pretty damn impossible.

Big plot spoilers if true. The link itself contains spoiler material. You have been warned.

Did I mention spoilers?

My thoughts:

[Show spoiler]I'm guessing the "puzzle box" is a jedi holocron.

That article is horribly written by someone who likely can't speak english. All they're doing is re-writing spoilers from Makingstarwars.net in a nonsensical way. Just post the original link next time.

With films that I know for a 100% fact that I'll see, I try to avoid as much footage as possible. I've stumbled over some animated gifs and I did see the behind the scenes comic con-thingie, but just like with Batman v Superman, X-Men: Apocalypse, and previously Avengers: AoU and Tomorrowland for example, I'm avoiding trailers and footage the best I can.

I had trailers for the above films being shown in theatres, and when I realized what it was, I just lowered my head and did my best to ignore them.

Same. I didn't even watch the last Spectre trailer 'cause I know I'll see the movie anyway. I won't watch any X-Men Apocalypse trailers. I've seen enough now of Star Wars 7 and Batman/Superman. With movies I know I will see no matter what the trailers just spoil some of the movie.

No, they don't, the plates don't move as much as they should, they perfectly adhere to the body, much more than a real, tangible armor.
It the artists had used some reference footage to see how the plates on the real deal moved there wouldn't be any problem, but alas, no clone trooper suit has ever been built for film production.
