Actually, two things. First, when you buy a PSP, you void the factory warranty as the PSP covers everything the factory would anyways. Sure they might send it to the manufacturer to get it fixed, but once you buy the PSP, the factory has no obligation to the consumer. Secondly, a PSP is never called an extended warranty by knowledgeable BB employees. That's not what it is. Each one of them covers more than what the factory would.
