Print Run (very few were made) would be my guess. And the cool looking slip. Steelbook and contents are the same I believe.

You are referring to the quarter slip, right? Thanks!

Default Need help identifying if this could be the Taiwan Captain America

So I won this item on eBay. The guy said it was the taiwan edition of Captain America The First Avenger. Before I pay for it I was hoping someone can help me identify if this was the Taiwan edition. The problem is it doesn't have the slipcover. It does have the blue blu ray disc that comes in the Taiwan edition. Here is the link with the item I won and paid for. . If he lied and said it wasn't the Taiwan edition I can get my money back though i might keep it. I just figured the item was worth the risk. It cost 110 dollars. I needed this steelbook anyways haha.

If it don't have the special 1/4 slip with Steve on the front, then it really doesn't matter which version it is. It'll look like every other one.

The seller's typing and presentation leaves much to be desired...

without the J card it looks identical to every other version so its just a waste of money in my opinion. the only way its recognisable of being from taiwan is from the slip...........

Default Steelbook

Thanks guys. I've seen the hmv one, and the german one which all had silver discs. The taiwan one definitely has a blue disc but yeah it could be the Thailand one or something

A bit off topic, but as a relatively experienced ebay seller, buyers who decide if and when they'll pay for an auction they've won are absolutely the worst. If you aren't totally sure you want something, don't bid, man.

Hey everyone I am a bit new here. Wasn't sure where to post my question so I figured this would be a good place.

I sold all of my dvds so I can start over my movie collection. I felt like the Steelbooks would be a good way to express how much I enjoy films and cover art. Since most of the people I know throw away their boxes.

Right now I wanted to start on horror films. Specifically some of my favorites, which are zombie films. I was wondering what would be a good copy of NOTLD to go with. I saw Happinet and that it had some bonus features. I also saw that Zavvi had a pre-order still open. From anyone experienced with buying from them, what would you suggest? And yes I would like a bunch of extras, so I am leaning towards happinet since it looks like zavvi doesn't have any? Are there any better copies that I could buy?

I've never heard of Happinet. Zavvi is the only one that I know of so I would stick with that. Happinet sounds like it might be a reseller or marketplace, so it is probably the same SteelBook as Zavvi's.

I don't think there is a difference except for the J-card. I would just buy the cheaper one!

Is anyone scared of the rusty steelbook stories?

I'm thinking of selling my 10 or so and getting the amaray versions when available.

What if by the time they rust the amarays have gone OOP??

Just started buying steelbooks in the past year or so. My question is in regards to those Zavvi and blufans steelbooks, or any of those imported steel books. For those that have them, how do you watch them? Do you have a region free player?
