Default One thing that DVD has over Blu-ray

I know that Blu-rays are very hard to scratch compared to DVDs, but when the discs actually have scratches, DVDs have the advantage. I have DVDs that are scratched up all over and they play flawlessly, yet if a Blu-ray has even a tiny scratch I can almost guarantee that it will have some playback issues from my own experience. It is frustrating as this is supposed to be the superior format, yet it is inferior to DVDs in this regard. It especially sucks when you have a larger collection and you finally get around to watching a blu-ray only to find out it won't play because of a tiny scratch and its outside of the return window.

Rant over.
