Default February 2016 50 Movie Challenge

As suggested by members Travis and cinemaphile, we're returning back to the "movie chain" game, where you start off with a movie by a filmmaker of your choice (actor, actress, director, writer, cinematographer, or composer), then continue your next selection provided it connects in some way with the previously mentioned filmmaker guidelines. For example:

1. Scarface (Michelle Pfeiffer)
2. Stardust (Michael Vaughn)
3. X-Men: First Class (Jennifer Lawrence)
4. Silver Linings Playbook (David O. Russell - screenwriter)
5. Three Kings (Mark Wahlberg)

This will continue until you've reached 50 films total (and beyond if you like), or you can opt for 25 films under these guidelines, and the other remaining 25 films will be spread out via 5 categories (your choice) with 5 films per category like we have done in the past. Only specific rule for the categories is: You MUST include Romance as one of the five categories.
  • 50 movies is the goal, but based on your own time and situation you can shoot for more or less, so we have different levels from Bronze to Platinum:
    60 Movies - Platinum
    50 Movies - Gold
    40 Movies - Silver
    30 Movies - Bronze
  • If you're going to repost your entire list each time, please hide it under spoiler tags.
  • If you are going to post pictures for the films (poster art or bluray covers, for example) please try not to use GIANT pictures, and if there are tons of them, again - please hide under spoilers
