It's not really about her size (in any respect), its about her presence, how she carries herself and how she presents herself on screen. So, bulking up isn't going to help.

Even the best actors/actresses have characters they can't pull off. They have a certain range that once outside of they just aren't believable. Lara Croft is a bad-ass, and I just don't see her pulling off a bad-ass, don't F with me kind of a B with an attitude. It's outside of her range. Everything I have seen from her, from TFA to interviews etc. tells me that this she is not a good fit for this role.

If they're going for the 21 year old Lara, I can see them overlooking her, but I'd love it if they went with Camilla Luddington. She's done a fantastic job as the new Lara (did both the voice and motion-acting performance), loves the character, and would love to keep playing her.

But she has been in tons of stuff, including playing 'Claudette' in "True Blood." So it's all coming back to me now.

I think she's also a regular cast member on Grey's Anatomy now, too. It's nice to see her popping up in more roles.

But hey, even if her filmography was a bit lighter, she definitely deserves consideration for the amazing job she's done as Lara in the 2 most recent Tomb Raider games. She'd fit the role on the big screen perfectly.

I have to agree with you, even if I've never seen a single episode of GA. She rocks the Lara in the games, definitely.
