I don't know... Lara had a special niche. Changing her up like this might not be the best idea. Why not just start up a new IP?

I don't get the bow and quiver on her. I suppose thats part of the reboot by losing the guns.

They should just pay a licensing fee to use the Uncharted 2 engine.. Of course it will not be nearly as good Unchared but it should still be a solid game, at the minimum a massive improvement on the engine they've been using.

I've just started playing underworld and I was thinking the same thing!! That game would be so much better if they were using uncharted engine!!

I thought TR:Legend was the reboot. The problem with Underworld is that, rather than building on Legend, it seemed to take a couple steps back in some areas.

I like the new "Drake" "realistic" look. But graphics aren't everything.

Honestly, weren't the last, like, 4 games reboots? I remember a trailer where Lara's house explodes, and the dev team was all like 'we're going in a whole new direction.

IMO, Lara needs to take a note from Godzilla. A classic franchise that unfortunately got weaker as it went on. So what happened? Retire the franchise for awhile. Let the fans become hungry for it again, THEN bring it back.

Give Lara a break for a decade or so. Give us a chance to miss her. Just my .02.

10 years might as well be a million years in video game years. If your franchise retires for 10 years, it's pretty much extinct.

What they need to do is put out a kick-ass adventure game. If they'd do that, then everyone would be happy and it'd be a hit. Recent Tomb Raider games haven't done poorly because the character is tired or lame, they'd done poorly because they weren't that good.

I enjoyed Underworld but Uncharted just destroys it now. Changing the graphics means nothing if the rest of the game isn't up to scratch.
