Pawn Shop


I got the above 3 for $10.85 w/ tax, and they're all in great condition or better

National Treasure was $3.99, and Winter's Tale was $2.99, both of which came with their discs mint. Then Transformers was $2.99, and it came with both discs (mint), as well as an excellent condition slipcover. It was technically a double dip, but I only had the single disc version, so I bought this copy for the special features/slipcover

Oh and Winter's Tale had the UV slip inside the case, but for once it had already been used. This is the first time that's happened in quite some time

Pawn Shop


I shockingly found a copy of the 3D Limited Edition Captain America: The First Avenger Combo with the slipcover yesterday evening, so I finally have a slipcover on every one of my Marvel Cinematic Universe BDs/3D BDs

The slip is in pretty good condition considering I found it used at a pawn shop, but it's not exactly mint, so I'd still like to (eventually) find one that's at least near mint or better. However now that I actually have one I'm in no rush, and the best part is that this copy was only $14 after tax Unfortunately I already had the 3D Combo pack (which I paid $14 for as well), but I should be able to sell the one without a slip and (at least) make my money back on it

Oh and while I was at the shop I heard one of the employees say "Who priced this at $8.99?", and I glanced over and saw he was holding an unopened copy of Halo 5. So naturally I said "If it's really that price I will take it", and they said they would honor it, so I got it for under $10 with tax. I'm not much of a gamer (anymore), but I've been wanting to play Halo 5 since it was released, so at that price I couldn't pass it up

I pre-ordered these late last night at around 1:30am just before I went to bed, and since the total was over $50 (LoT was $27.99 & TWD was $29.99) I will be getting a free $10 Gift Card. On top of that this order put me over 250 points, so I'll have enough points for a $5 RZ certificate soon as well

These are the first TV seasons I've ever pre-ordered, but that's mainly because I didn't start (seriously) buying BDs until November last year. Which was after all my favorite shows newest seasons had already been released.

The best part is that both Legends of Tomorrow and the $10 Gift Card have already shipped out, and the tracking info for LoT says it will be delivered a day early (on Monday) TWD was only available for In-store pickup, so I'll be picking it up on the 23rd, which is fine by me

I bought that today. I was gonna buy it Wednesday, but I decided to get it today. Gonna either keep the bonus disc in the paper sleeve in the case. Or change it out for a 3 disc case.
