Default Blu-Ray Resolution on a PS3
Hello,

I am currently in the market for a Blu-Ray player and will be hooking it up to a 32 inch 720p lcd hdtv. I read somewhere that the PS3 is designed only for 1080p playback of blu-ray movies, and that if you try to play a movie on a 720p tv, the ps3 will downscale it to 480p. Is this true?

If so, I definitely will want to opt for another player because my tv cannot do 1080p. Anyways guys, let me know what you think, and sorry if this has been posted before but I could not find an answer in the existing threads.
