The ending of High Tension was just fine with me. The way I took was that it was from the point of view of the main character and how she "thinks" it happened and when we find out they are the same person it was to show us how things actually went down. I think the ending makes sense.

Exactly! It doesn't take that much imagination to "get it." The way it was done made it one of those RARE plot twists that you don't see coming 30minutes into the movie. A plot twist that actually has the ability to surprise is a rare treat indeed.
