I mean I agree, I'd love everything on UHD at this point. I'm just saying catalog releases have struggled with sales on BD, let alone UHD. The market is what it is, and I don't think catalog UHD is anyone's priority really. They're probably going to trickle out during cross-promotions and anniversaries for a while, before labels maybe jump in and try their hand at it. Niche stuff is niche, you know? I just bought a movie on DVD the other day, Stakeout, because I doubt Disney ever plans to release it on BD, let alone UHD. That's the market we're in.

Also 4k scans definitely show benefits on BD, plus they then have it prepared for a UHD release someday if it makes sense. So I don't agree with your latter point at all really.
