Simple vote: overall, which movie for you has the better 3D experience?
Nice poll. For 3D, I enjoy both films very much, though for the most consistent 3D in the high medium to strong 3D layer range, I choose Force Awakens.

With Ridley Scott's mostly filmed 3D in The Martian, he sometimes opts for low medium and mild 3D during the dialog shots. The mars landscapes are awesome though, with a number of impressive 3D shots. My favorite 3D shots are in the plant garden from the ground view, and the shard dust storm. Had he offered a more consistent experience in his films (especially Exodus 3D, which was all over the place with the 3D range), it would be a tougher choice.

Now here's hoping his next film gets back to 3D!
