Same for me. A more interesting choice would be The Martian vs. Rogue One.

I liked the 3D in Rogue One, just saying that would be a closer contest.

Oh Rogue One would lose any 3D contest easily, terrible 3D. That wouldn't be a close contest with The Martian, The Martian has much stronger 3D.

I didn't know The Martian was good on 3d. wanted to buy it, but it's $30 on amazon

For what it's worth, I watched both films in 2D before watching them in 3D and of the two, the 3D made more of a difference to The Force Awakens.

I just can't get excited about Ridley Scott's use of 3D.
