Does surround sound make a diffrence

Think of it like this. When your out in the world you don't just hear sounds in front of you. You hear sounds in front, the sides, and in back of you. You don't hear nature you are experincing it. Same thing wiht Blu-ray. As was mentioned earlier wiht blu-ray and its new codecs, you hear it as if you are actually there. Thats the intened idea that make blu-ray,... blu-ray.
