Is this sony sub any good?

My subwoofer at home just died on me. Granted it is a cheap piece of crap, but it is my cheap piece of crap. Well, now when i listen to it, it sounds like a mutted, flat, annoying hum instead of normal sound.
It sounds awful.
Now I am no audiophile, but I do like a decent speaker. I just got lots of SACDs and Blu-ray for Christmas, and now I am looking to replace my subwoofer before I can enjoy these.
So, looking around locally, I found my local tweeter just went out of business and I missed the sale! And all the other stores don't have much in terms of subwoofers.
Well, on Amazon, I found some, but I am on a tight budget, so I was thinking in the $100-$140 range.

but I also found a Sony for $99, (http://www.amazon.com/Sony-SA-W2500-...0344538&sr=8-6)

I think I saw that very Sony at Best Buy for the same price, and now I am wondering how the quality compares. It has a lot of good reviews. For the price, is this a decent subwoofer?
