Have you ever bought a Blu-ray new that was defective?

I got Forgetting Sarah Marshall today from Best Buy, so I decided to end the night by watching it since I had never seen it. So, almost an hour into the movie, it started pausing and everything became pixelated and it struggled to continue, so there was obviously a problem with the disc. I immediately got pissed and opened up my player. I took out the BD and noticed a big scratch across the side of the disc. It's impossible that I did it myself because as soon as I opened up the case I safely took out the disc and popped it into my player and hit close. I'm really disappointed as this has never happened to me before with a new product.

So, I hope Best Buy will let me get a replacement for it because now I can't even finish the movie and I was beginning to like it.

Anybody ever experience something like this?
