That was more to satisfy an itch that it had to go deeper than a Raisin in the Sun. I'd actually be surprised if I turned out to be right, as it doesn't seem to be that known of a title.

Isn't the existing blu of Wrath already 4k? If so my guess is sun.

Anyway my list remains woefully the same:
upgrades Godard & Bergman,
John Hughes (particularly that one with the freckled gal)
Wong Kar-wai (especially the Chinese cut of The Grandmaster)

Tsui Hark's New Dragon Gate Inn
The Heroic Trio (and its sequel)

Shaolin Soccer

Hong Kong cut of Drunken Master 2

Maybe you haven’t heard of it, but A Raisin in the Sun is a very well-known title. It’s recognized in the National Film Registry and PBS recently featured Lorraine Hansberry on American Masters. I think it certainly has enough recognition for a Criterion release.

He's talking about the title he picked (Warm Current).

Ah, now I get it. Never mind, as Emily Litella used to say.

Yasuzo Masumura on Criterion Blu-ray would make my day, but yeah, it doesn't seem likely. Even if they're interested in Masumura, such a lesser-known title like Warm Current won't have any chance. Eclipse, maybe, but certainly not an individual release.

Just popped in to say that currants are the most vile thing I've ever tasted. And I've put a lot of things in my mouth.

That would be the point of the pun, the two words are homonyms.

I've totally figured it out this time. See, the suntan lotion is there because grapes aren't perfectly equipped to handle the sun naturally. In that respect, it's helping them adapt to the environment.

Therefore, we can label that a Grape adaptation...which brings us to the actual answer of Great Adaptations

It's clearly a reference to Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Teenagers like to party and drink alcohol... some teenagers like to drink alcohol in the form or wine... wine comes from grapes... grapes need to ripen in the sun. Done.

Maybe the clue itself is surreal and the film is Un Chien Andalou.

Would be cool if Criterion released this. I should give it another watch. Maybe I'll boot it up on YouTube tonight.

Since there is Tuscan wine, could this be Under the Tuscan Sun?
