Frode Special Member Member since:Feb 2007	BD vs HD DVD vs DVD: Animé edition Watch impress have done a comparison of the BD, HD DVD and DVDs of Bandai Visual's latest releases: http://www.watch.impress.co.jp/av/do...44.htm?ref=rss I recommend http://www.excite.co.jp/world/english/web/ if you want to web translate (paste the link, click the right radio button to select JP-> ENG and click the submit button) Although most of the text is in Japanese, the pictures should do a decent job in telling the story on their own. It looks to me like the BD versions (high bitrate AVC) maintain more of the grain than the HD DVD (high bitrate VC1). Last edited by Frode; 07-31-2007 at 03:05 PM.
