Default New plasma!!!!!!!

Well, I bit the bullet. I decided on the Samsung 58A550. In all honesty, I'm VERY happy with the picture and even more happy with the price, and the mutha of all my concerns overpowered me leaving me happier than happy on the SIZE of the screen.

I am a bit nervous on dealing with samsung. After the debacle that was my DLP, I can only hope I get lucky and do not have any problems with this plasma.

Why did I decide this tv? Well, it was simple (kinda). Screen size was one of the most important things I was looking for. When I looked at the 50", they had a great picture but the size didn't cut it. I was looking at the panny 58" and the Sammy 58", both on the same channel and the picture was basically IDENTICAL. my buddy and I could not tell the difference. The difference was the price. I feel like i got a great deal at 2500 bucks. Minus off my credit and the price was even better.....

It is being delivered Friday. I will know then if I feel I made the right choice. I hope it looks good. I hope it fits and I hope my stand doesn't collapse. DOH

I am PUMPED!!! What movie should I watch first????
